This year was Talia's first year at Girls Camp. She was so excited to go and I was able to go as a cabin mom. I was a cabin mom for Talia's cousin cabin so she had her space but I was able to see her a lot. We both had a great time and Talia had her good friends, Haylee and Alia in her cabin. There was lots of hiking, swimming, camp certification with lots of fun games, firesides, skits, crafts, service projects, Bishop night with Minute to Win It Games, and much more. I had a great group of girls and UCL in my cabin and it was a very fun week. Saturday we cleaned up camp and had our testimony meeting. By Saturday I was ready to sleep in my own bed and see Trent and Tucker. I had been called to be the new Young Women's president in my ward but hadn't been sustained so I was really glad that I was able to go to girls camp to get to know the girls better even though nobody knew I was going to be the new YW president. I was sustained the day after we got back from camp. It was a wonderful experience and we look forward to next year.
