Trip to Portland

After Twin Lakes and grandma's house we hitched a ride with my sister Stephanie to Portland to visit with our old friends for a few days.  Thank you Stephanie!    We had an amazing time with our dear friends and have really missed them since we moved to California.  We stayed with the Cheslers and they were great hosts.  We had smores around their fire pit in the backyard the first night we were there.  We went to Pacific City to the beach one day and it was a beautiful day.  The kids were excited to go back to the sand hill at the beach there.  We also went to a trampoline place another day and then went and ate at Burgerville, one of our favorite restaurants in Oregon.  I was able to go to dinner with my friends and it was good to spend time with them.  The kids enjoyed meeting up with their old friends and just spending time with them.  Talia was able to see her friends, Maysen, Ashley and Molly.  Tucker was able to see his buddies, Shane, Zach, and Keaton.  Our few days in Oregon flew by and before we knew it, we were saying good bye to our friends.
