Trent and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary this week. Boy time sure does fly. We sent the kids to Richland to Trent's parents. Their Aunt Brooke was so kind to drive them. Then we drove to Newport on the Oregon Coast. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The room we stayed was very nice and it was fun to have lots of time together without our children. We went to Newport's Historic Bay and went to a Wax Museum and the Ripley's Beleive it Or not Museum. We also spent some time on the beach and it was just beautiful. The last day in Newport we visited the Aquarium and it was very interesting. Our favorite part of the aquarium was the shark tank which surrounded you on all sides. We had a really nice time and I am so grateful to have a wonderful, supportive, hard-working, and righteous husband. Before I know it we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary, so I need to make the most of time I have with Trent and my children.

Anniversay Trip to Newport!!
Trent and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary this week. Boy time sure does fly. We sent the kids to Richland to Trent's parents. Their Aunt Brooke was so kind to drive them. Talia's Turned Eight!!!!
Talia turned 8 on May 11th and she partied for days to celebrate. The Friday before her birthday she had a sleepover with a few friends. Five friends came over for rollerskating, pizza, cupcakes and a movie but then only 2 stayed the night. (I have no complaints about that!) They spent a lot of time on our trampoline and fixed each other's hair during the movie. There were some interesting hairdo's. There were a few emotional moments but overall the party was success and I think that everyone enjoyed themselves. Talia and her friends only got about 6 hours of sleep but what do you expect at the sleepover. Sunday, on her acutal birthday and Mother's day she opened her birthday presents and I opened my Mother's Day presents. The kids made me some very nice presents and then they got me a nice soap and lotion set. After church, I made her favorite meal and oreo cheesecake. Aunt Brooke came for the party and brought silly spray, noise makers and hats. We are looking forward to her baptism on the 31st of this month! It is hard to believe that I am the mother of an eight-year old.
Kindergartners are too Cute!!
Tucker's Kindergarten class recently performed their music program and did a great job. It was so CUTE it just made you smile. We recorded it and I thought that whenever I am having a not so good day, all I need to do is watch that video. Tucker had a speaking part and they sang a few songs. The highlight of the program was the chicken dance. Their PE teacher had taught them the chicken dance and I laughed so hard I cried. The theme of the program was "When I Grow Up." Each student made a bear and dressed it up to show what they wanted to be when they grew up. Tucker chose a movie director so that he could make lots of movies!

General Conference Boredom Busters
I look forward to General Conference every time it comes and Trent and I really enjoyed General Conference this last April. It is such a spiritual boost. Our kids felt a little differently about the experience. They got to sit through both sessions on Sunday and Talia sat through the first session on Saturday also . Talia made hats for everyone the first session on Sunday and she my camera during the next session and she had fun taking some interesting pictures of herself and her brother so I thought that I would share them so others could get a good laugh. Enjoy!
