So I have finally succombed to the pressure and have started a blog. I had some Easter pictures so I thought I would send them. Saturday we colored hard boiled eggs and they had a wonderful time. It was a good incentive for my children to help clean the house. Tucker loves to color hard boiled eggs but he gags when he smells them or even watches someone eat them. He asked Talia to turn away from him when she was eating one the other day. Talia loves them and I am hoping to get to eat some before she eats them all.
Sunday morning the kids woke up and the Easter bunny had hidden their baskets and they had to go and look for them. They found them pretty quickly. I thought that they would so excited about getting some candy and they weren't that impressed. At Halloween last year they had so much candy that I offered to buy most of their candy from them in exchange for a toy( it wasn't a big toy). So yesterday morning they both asked me if I would buy their candy in exchange for a toy. I didn't even suggest it. So we let them keep their chocolate bunny and a few other pieces of candy and sent the rest to work with Trent because I don't really need to eat all of their Easter candy and if it stayed in the house that would probably happen. We are going toy shopping today. So I learned that next year I will just have the Easter bunny bring my kids a chocolate bunny and a toy. That way I don't have to buy the candy twice! Here are some pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits. Enjoy!
