Talia Turns 12!!!

I can't believe I have a 12 year old.  Talia was so excited to turn 12 and be a Young Woman.  We celebrated early and had her friend party at the end of April because I was scheduled to have my surgery a week before her birthday.  She had some friends come over for a sleepover.  They swam, enjoyed the hot tub, ate pizza and cake, watched a movie, sat out by the fire, made some crafts and went to bed really late.  She had a great time with her friends.

She got up early on her birthday and opened her presents. Her favorite present was her iPod. Talia went to school on her birthday and I brought treats to her class for her to celebrate with them. We went to dinner that night at BJ's so that Talia could have a Pazooki. It was extra fun because Trent's mom was visiting to help out after my surgery. The Beehives came and heart attacked the house which was exciting! That next Sunday Talia was welcomed to Young Women's and came home with a Beehive sash and a birthday treat.

I am so grateful for Talia!  She brings so much joy to our family!  She is fun loving, kind, smart, funny, caring, righteous, thoughtful, self-motivated, beautiful and we love her so much!!!  Her favorite color is aqua and her favorite food is chocolate!  She love giraffes, pandas, and dolphins.  Her favorite band is One Direction and she got the CD for her birthday!  She is quite the swimmer and plays the piano.  She is getting close to be able to play hymns.  She is destined for great things!
