May was a very busy month for us. We closed on our house in Corona and moved in 2 weeks later. It was a short sale and it took over 5 months to close. The house was well worth the wait. We had a lot of help with packing and moving from our old ward and are so grateful. We have to move schools and wards which is what it I didn't want to do but the house was just what we wanted. Our new ward is great and has given us a very warm welcome. There are lots of kids in the primary and Talia and Tucker have already made friends. We are moved in for the most part. There are still pictures to hang and organizing to do but that may take a couple of months. We had to paint the entire house inside and out, replace light fixtures and blinds, repair drywall, take down wall papper (I hate wallpaper), replace door locks, replace several damaged doors and deep clean the entire house. With only 2 weeks we had to pay for some of it to be done. Luckily we were able to move on time.

The yard was neglected for a couple of years and needs lots of work. It is almost a half acre lot which means lots of yardwork! I need to learn to like to garden. Our yard has a big pool and we will definitely be enjoying the pool this summer. It has been in the 80's in the last few weeks and it has been to fun to swim in the pool. I have only been in a couple of times but I am sure that will change as the weather gets hot. Please come and visit anytime. We love to have company.
