We had year passes to Disneyland and California Adventure and they were expiring in June. We went the last 2 days before they expire. The new Cars Land had just opened and we were excited to see it. There were very long lines at Cars Land and were lucky get to ride the new ride but had to go as single riders and still wait in line for over an hour. It was worth the wait and is a very fun ride. It wasn't too busy considering it was June and summer vacation. We were able to go on all the rides we wanted to and had a wonderful time. Trent met up with us after work and we went on a couple of the less popular rides in Car Land. It really is a cool place and the details that went into the design of it are amazing.
Talia, Tucker and I were able to get into Disneyland an hour early the 2nd day we went and were able to go on 8 rides in that first hour. We were jogging from ride to ride and there were no lines. It was great and we were able to ride on several of our favorite rides in that first hour. We have never been there when it has been so empty. There were a few rides that didn't open early enough but it didn't get busy for a couple of hours. We left at lunchtime and we were able to do everything and more than we wanted to. That early hour pass was worth getting up for. We had a fantastic time at Disneyland and California Adventure and will miss having passes. We will definitely get them again but not for awhile.
