Golden Girl's Birthday!

May was full of celebrations! It started off with Talia turning the big 11 on the 11th of May. The highlight of her birthday was FINALLY being able to get her ears pierced. She was so excited and can hardly wait the 2 months before she can wear different earrings. She had a golden themed birthday party with her friends the weekend before her birthday. We had a BBQ, treasure hunt, and went swimming. It was a very fun party. Her birthday was that next Wednesday and they celebrated at school with smore cookies! We went out to eat for her birthday and she chose In N Out Burger. The weekend after her birthday Talia and I went to the American Doll store in LA and ate dinner at the cafe. We went early so that she spend her birthday money and the money she saved. She was able to buy some outfits for her doll and paid to have her doll's hair fixed. It was a very cute store and the dinner was great also. They even had a chair for Talia's doll. We had 2 appetizers, a main dish and some cute mini desserts! It was worth the drive to LA and so much fun to spend time alone with Talia. I am so grateful for Talia. She is beautiful, smart, righteous, talented, kind and always tries to do her very best. She is a great big sister and daughter and our family is so blessed to have her in it. We love you Talia!!
