Fun 4th of July

We had very fun filled 4th of July. Last minute, my sister, Nancy came down from Idaho with some friends to stay for a few days. We had lots of plans for the weekend but were able to spend some time with her and her friends. We went to a tri-ward breakfast the Saturday before the 4th and then went to a parade with our neighbors afterwards. We were invited to 3 barbeques that weekend. We went to a BBQ Saturday afternoon at our friend's home in our new ward. We were able to meet lots of people in our new ward and the kids and Trent had a great time swimming. Sunday we went to a BBQ at our neighbors house after we came home from church. We ended the evening by watching the city's fireworks with our neighbors and their family and friends. Our neighbors were so kind and let my sister and her friends come and eat also. Monday we went to another friend's house for another BBQ. They were also from our new ward and we were able to meet even more people. They had the most amazing pool and backyard I had ever seen. There was a big slide and waterfall to jump off of. The kids didn't want to leave. Overall we had a great weekend and spent lots of time with friends and family. We enjoyed delicious food. I feel so grateful to live in this country and enjoy the freedoms and opportunities we have.
