Spring Break and Grandma's House

The kid's had spring break the last week of March and we stayed home for the first part of the week. On Thursday we drove to Mattawa to visit my parents. Betsy and Ella came to visit while we there. We brought Tate with us and I am so grateful that my parents don't mind. The kids had a fun time playing with Ella and enjoying the nice weather outside. We walked up to the pond each day and threw rocks in the water. Grandma helped Talia make a bracelet with her beads. We made fruit loop necklaces one day and I got to help Ella. I had to work fast to help Ella make her necklace because she would eat the fruit loops as fast as I would put them on. Once the necklace was made it didn't last long. Talia's goal was to try to make a super long fruit loop necklace and she did. Tucker lost interest after awhile and only cared about eating the fruit loops. That afternoon we went to park in between the rain showers and it was lots of fun. Ella liked to walk Tate on his leash but it was more like Tate pulling Ella and Ella falling down and letting go of Tate's leash. She as a very determined little soul and falling down time and time again didn't stop her. Grandma brought some very cool bubble machines to the park to try out and they produced some serious bubbles. We went home Sunday after church and had an uneventful drive which is always good. Thank you mom and dad for a fun weekend. Thank you Betsy and Ella for coming to visit while we were there.

What a fun weekend. Cute pictures. I love the idea of bringing the bubble machine to the park.

Trina,
Your kids are growing up so fast! It is so fun to get on your blog and see how you are keeping busy. It looks like you had a fantastic time. I am jealous that you live close enough to home to make a quick trip from time to time!
