Talia and Tucker had Spring Break the last week of March. My mom, my sister Betsy and Ella came for the first few days of the week. We went to zoo on Tuesday morning. It was kind of chilly but the sun was out. I didn't expect it to be that cold so we were a little underdressed. Most everyone else had hats, gloves, and coats and we just had light jackets. This was Ella's first trip to the zoo and Talia and Tucker were excited to share in her experience. Talia and Tucker's favorite animals were the elephants and they put on a show. They were playing with some sawdust and would cover themselves in it and then roll around on the ground in the sawdust. The best part was that it was inside where it was warm. I asked the kids what they favorite animals were and Tucker wanted to know what Talia's favorite was so that he could be just like his sister. I am so grateful that they have each other and that they do get along so well. They aren't perfect by any means but there are those moments where they just make you smile.
That afternoon we went swimming at an indoor pool with a 3 story high slide. It was lots of fun and it wasn't planned but Talia's and Tucker's friends showed up so they were delighted to swim with their friends. Tucker decided that he could go down the slide by himself without me catching him at the bottom and he was very proud. I don't have pictures from the pool but that's allright. I don't think that cameras and swimming suits should be in the same location very often.
Talia just loved having Ella come and visit. Ella lets Talia dress her up and carry her everywhere. She is like Talia's little doll but alive! They wore matching headbands and Ella would leave her's in for awhile. Ella even says Talia's name "Ta-ta" and it is so cute. My mom and sister left the next day and we were sad to see them go. We had great time with them.

That is so cute about Talia and Ella. I think they could be sisters. I'm glad that Ella likes Talia so much, I know Talia must love the attention.
How fun! I can't wait until our girls are old enough to go to the zoo (well, maybe I can). Talia is so cute with babies, I love having her around to help with ours too.
Very fun! I love that Talia and Tucker are such good friends! Cute pictures!
